Available to pre-order now.
The Datsun redi-GO, the smallest car from the Nissan Motor's budget brand, had its world debut last month and is now available to pre-order. Now as per new unconfirmed web reports, the redi-GO will be on sale from 1 June. It will be available in five colours: White, Silver, Ruby Red, Red Lime and Bronze Grey, with prices ranging between INR 2.5 and INR 3.5 lakhs.
The Datsun redi-GO's exterior follows the brand's new YUKAN design language and is close to its concept version which was unveiled at Auto Expo 2014. It is Datsun's first car to be based on the A version of the Renault-Nissan Alliance's CMF (Common Modular Family) modular platform.
Datsun didn't reveal all the exterior or interior dimensions of the the redi-GO at its unveiling but did mention that it has the best-in-class ground clearance of 185 mm and claim that it will offer the best-in-class kneeroom and visibility. The Datsun redi-GO is reportedly 3,430 mm-long, 249 mm shorter than the Renault Kwid (3,679 mm).
