Will have its market launch in November.
Seen here is an image showing the side angle of the forthcoming Bajaj Kratos VS400, which is announced to launch in the month of November. As reported earlier, the flagship offering from Bajaj Auto will not be sold under the 'Pulsar' branding, however, the company will create the new 'Kratos' brand and possibly launch more motorcycles under this name.
Initially, the Bajaj Kratos VS400 was planned for a launch in the month of August, however, its launch was delayed as the company was focussing on building volumes for the oncoming festive season.
Expected to cost in the whereabouts of INR 1.6-1.7 lakhs, ex-Showroom, the Bajaj Kratos VS400 will be an alternative to a Royal Enfield product, but not a direct competitor. In all likelihood, the Bajaj Kratos VS400 will rival the Royal Enfield Himalayan on price. For reference, the Himalayan is priced at INR 1.56 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.

The Bajaj Kratos VS400 borrows the KTM Duke 390's 373.27 cc single cylinder liquid-cooled engine, with Bajaj’s DTS-i technology developing 34.50 hp. It also gets a slipper-clutch from the KTM, a recent report said.
