Yamaha Fazer 25 is expected to have an identical output and power delivery to the Yamaha FZ 25.
New spy shots of the Yamaha Fazer 25 (Yamaha Fazer 250) have been shared by Powerdrift. The bike gets a new fairing which, however, does not stretch over the engine.
The air-cooled mill, sourced from the Yamaha FZ 25, is assisted by an oil-cooler and while the naked roadster does not heat up uncomfortably, it will be interesting to see how Yamaha manages efficient heat dissipation with the fairing. The Yamaha Fazer 25 is suspended over 41 mm standard telescopic fork up front with 130 mm of travel and a rear monoshock with adjustable preload and 120 mm of travel.
The Yamaha Fazer 25 just like the Yamaha FZ 25 is expected to get the 282 mm front disc with a two-piston caliper (sourced from Bybre) and a 220 mm disc in the rear with a single pot caliper (from Nissin). The presence of ABS though still cannot be confirmed.

The fairing will help the Yamaha Fazer 25 be tourer friendly and the visor will tone down the wind blast. The 249 cc SOHC mill is capable of producing 20.9 PS of power and 20 Nm of torque. The gearbox will continue to be a 5-speed unit.
Yamaha India is yet to officially announce a timeline for the motorcycle but a festive season launch cannot be ruled out.
