AMW Motorcycles introduced CFMoto in India on 19 July with the launch of four motorcycles – the 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and the 650GT. All four products carry competitive price tags as compared to their rivals. All CFMoto products are imported to our market through the CKD route and the assembly takes place at AMW Motorcycles’ facility in Hyderabad. Currently, the vehicles are available in Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai and Guwahati.

The CFMoto 300NK, which will compete with the likes of KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R and the Honda CB300R, is available at INR 2.29 lakh* (introductory). In comparison, the KTM 390 Duke retails at INR 2.41 lakh*, while the BMW G 310 R and the Honda CB300R are priced at INR 2.99 lakh* and INR 2.49 lakh* respectively.

The 300NK uses a 292.4 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-valve, DOHC engine that delivers 33.9 PS of peak power at 7,200 rpm and 20.5 Nm of max torque at 8,800 rpm. The motor employs a six-speed transmission.

The 650NK is available at an introductory price of INR 3.99 lakh*, and this makes it INR 1.70 lakh cheaper than its direct rival, the Kawasaki Z650. The 649.3 cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin-cylinder, 8-valve, DOHC mill on the 650NK returns 61.54 PS at 9,000 rpm and 56 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine works with a six-speed transmission.

The Kawasaki Versys 650 rivalling 650MT retails at INR 4.99 lakh* (introductory). In comparison, the Japanese tourer is available at INR 6.69 lakh*. The 649.3 cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin-cylinder mill produces 70.7 PS at 8,750 rpm and 62 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine sends power to the rear wheel via a six-speed transmission.
