The CFMoto 650NK packs aggressive styling that is accompanied by features such as full LED lighting (headlight, blinkers and taillight), a fully-digital instrument console and a competitive price tag. The 650NK is currently available at an introductory price of INR 3.99 lakh*, which is INR 1.70 lakh lower than the Kawasaki Z650's price.
In terms of performance, the 650NK lags behind. The 649.3 cc parallel-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 8-valve engine delivers 61.54 PS at 9,000 rpm and 56 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Coupled with a heavier kerb weight (206 kg), the 650NK suffers in the power-to-weight numbers.
The Kawasaki Z650, on the other hand, draws 68 PS at 8,000 rpm and 65.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm from its 649 cc parallel-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 8-valve motor. The relatively lower kerb weight of 190 kg gives it a better power-to-weight ratio than the Chinese roadster. However, Kawasaki retails at a premium price tag (INR 5.69 lakh), and while most of the hardware specifications are identical, the Z650 misses out on features like LED headlight, LED blinkers and a fully-digital instrument console.
