As we've known for a while, Mahindra plans to launch a facelifted Mahindra KUV100 this year. IAB reader Gautham spotted a 2017 Mahindra KUV100 with new bumpers testing near Chennai last week.
The Mahindra KUV100 was launched in India in January 2016 and should have had some way to go before its mid-cycle refresh. However, it hasn't received a market response quite as Mahindra anticipated. In response, design tweaks are on the way to make the KUV100 look more pleasing to potential buyers.
The latest spy shots show that the new Mahindra KUV100 will feature new bumpers, reworked headlamps with new graphics and new alloy wheels on the outside. M&M has confirmed a touchscreen infotainment that runs Android Auto within a year on the KUV100.
The Mahindra KUV100 is unlikely to receive mechanical changes with the facelift. The current model is 3,675 mm long, 1,705 mm/1,715 mm long and 1,655 mm tall (with roof rails). These dimensions should remain unchanged, and so should the mFalcon G80 petrol and mFalcon D75 diesel engines. The 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 82 bhp and 115 Nm of torque. The 1.2-litre diesel engine develops 77 bhp and 190 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission sends power to the front wheels.

The 2017 Mahindra KUV100's prices shouldn't vary from the current model which is priced from INR 4,58,282-7,35,632 (ex-showroom Delhi). The new model could go on sale around the festive season (October-November 2017).
