The 2017 Mahindra KUV100 has been spotted sporting the sunglass-like headlamps, as per pictures posted by CarDekho. The first prototypes of the facelift were masked to look like Mahindra was rethinking the lighting design, taking a conventional route.
The camouflaged mule was spied testing on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The facelifted rear looks identical as the test mule spotted for the first time, but the reworked registration plate enclosure is visible. The facelifted version retains the crease on top of the tail lights but sports an additional crease below the tail lamps. Big changes are lined up to the front of the car with the new KUV sporting a new bumper and position for the foglamp.

Coming to the powerplant options, the facelifted variant is likely to continue with the 82 bhp 1.2 L G80 mFalcon petrol; and 77 bhp 1.2 L D75 mFalcon diesel three-cylinder engines. Currently, only a 5-speed manual transmission is available. To compete with variants such as the Maruti Ignis AGS and Hyundai Grand i10 petrol 4AT, Mahindra is likely to offer a 5-speed AMT option.
Mahindra has confirmed that the facelifted KUV100 will arrive by the end of this year. Expect prices to be similar to the model currently on sale, which ranges between INR 4.58-7.36 Lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi).
