Will debut at Auto Guangzhou 2016 this month.
The BMW 1 Series Sedan (BMW F52) was announced in July, but it is only now that its interior has been revealed in an official image. The China-only model will have its world premiere at 2016 Auto Guangzhou that will be held from 19 to 27 November.
The BMW 1 Series Sedan's interior doesn't mimic the BMW 1 Series hatchback. Instead, it features a familiar layout seen on the company's other latest UKL platform-based cars - the BMW X1, BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer. Features like three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, infotainment system with included BMW ConnectedDrive services and a rotary control knob and sunroof can be easily made out.
The BMW 1 Series Sedan measures 4,456 mm in length, 1,803 mm in width and 1,446 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,670 mm. Three engine models will be available: 118i, 120i and 125i. The 118i will draw power from a 136 hp 1.5-litre turbocharged engine, the 120i will be powered by a 192 hp 2.0-litre turbocharged engine and the 125i will sport a 231 hp 2.0-litre turbocharged engine. Transmission choices should be 6-speed manual and 8-speed automatic.

The BMW 1 Series Sedan, though developed for China, could be launched abroad. It was recently reported that the German automaker is considering the compact sedan for Brazil. If made in RHD, the 1 Series Sedan could be a potential BMW product to compete with the Audi A3 and Mercedes CLA in India.
