Range includes front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models.
BMW has showcased the brand's first 7-seater MPV, the BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer at the ongoing 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It's based on the same platform as the 2 Series Active Tourer, but gets an additional row of seats to enable seating for up to 7 in a 2+3+2 format.
The vehicle measures 4,556 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,608 mm in height. It offers 645 litres of boot space, which can be increased to 805 litres by folding the rear bench, and further to 1,905 litres by folding the second row of seats. There are five variants available - Standard, Advantage, Sport Line, Luxury Line and M Sport.
Engine options include 3-cylinder and 4-cylinder turbocharged engines, which range from 116 hp to 192 hp versions. The vehicle is based on the UKL1 platform, which is front-wheel drive, but the vehicle will also be available in an all-wheel drive 220d xDrive variant, when it goes on sale.
