New colours could be added to the other models as well.
Bajaj will be introducing a new golden shade for its popular cruiser, Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220. The bike was launched in October last year along with two other Avenger models namely Street 220 and Street 150. Initially, the company had released the new Avenger range with the philosophy of one colour per model only.
The Cruise 220 comes with an optional windshield, fuel tank badges, spoke wheels and raised handlebar that well complements its cruiser appeal. On the other hand, the remaining two, as the name suggests, have been designed to be more street friendly and have been equipped with flat handlebar, darker theme and black alloy wheels to give a more sportier look.
Talking of powertrain, the Cruise 220 uses a 220 cc, oil-cooled engine that has been mated to a five-speed gearbox. The DTS-i motor is good for 19.03 PS of maximum power while the peak torque is rated at 17.5 Nm.
