Reported to launch around June 2016.
Our in-house artist, Shoeb Kalania, has rendered the production version of the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 in a multitude of colors including Black, Blue, White, Yellow and Red; colors which are expected to be offered on the sportsbike.
According to latest reports, the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 will have its market launch around June this year. It will be the next major Pulsar launch from the company, and will also claim rights as the fastest and most powerful Pulsar ever put into production.
The production version will look very similar to the pre-production prototype shown at the Auto Expo 2014 save for a few changes. Notably, the front suspension on test mules is of the conventional telescopic type, whereas that on the Auto Expo showcase vehicle was an upside-down unit. Also, changes seem to have been made to the seat giving it a split layout now.
Power for the Pulsar CS400 is reported to come from the KTM Duke 390's single-cylinder engine with the addition of Bajaj's triple-spark technology. On the Duke 390, this motor outputs 43.5 PS and 35 Nm of torque, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
