Expected to launch in September 2015.
Hyundai Motor Brazil is expected to launch the 2016 Hyundai HB20 sometime in September. Prior to that, the hatchback and HB20S sedan has been spotted testing by Carsale reader Anderson Soldera.
The test mule does not have much to show as it is heavily camouflaged. But from an undisguised spyshot, it was noticed the facelifted HB20 draws heavy inspiration from the Hyundai HB20 R-Spec Concept that was showcased at the Sao Paulo International Motor Show in 2014.
Exterior features include a chrome-outlined hexagonal grille, redesigned bumper with small circular fog lamps and redesigned headlamp clusters. The rear is not properly visible; however, it is expected to get a re-profiled bumper and updates to the tail lights as well.

Changes are not expected under the hood, as it is likely to feature the same 1.0- and 1.6-liter flex fuel engines. The 1.0-liter produces 80 bhp and 100 Nm of torque, while the 1.6-liter is capable of 128 bhp and 161.6 Nm of peak torque output. The small displacement engine will mostly be paired to a 5-speed manual whereas the bigger mill may be mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox in the place of the current 4-speed unit.
