Hyundai Brazil has shown the Hyundai HB20 R-Spec version hosting the conceptual possibilities for the evolution of the HB20.
Created specially for the motorshow, the car is finished in a matte Blue and wears a new grille, bumper, air intakes and features the 'R-Spec' badge. The headlamps receive new daytime running LED lamps and projector bulbs.
Moving sidewards, the car has widened fenders, 17" alloy wheels, carbon fiber appliques, lower deflector, mirror caps in silver and red brake calipers. At the rear, the bumper is refurbished with air vents which are finished in a silver housing, new taillights and chrome dual exhaust outlets maintaining the sporty tone. The antenna is of the fin type and the roof spoiler is made of carbon fiber.
Inside (images currently unavailable), the focus is on the dashboard, seats, steering wheel and gear lever which have new finishes. Seats offer extra side support and are finished in leather and Alcantara, with stitching in blue. The doors are also upholstered in leather and the gear shifter is upgraded for better ergonomics.
The dashboard and doors feature a bright blue and black finish. The flat-bottomed steering wheel is trimmed in perforated leather, and has black and blue stitching.
For now the HB20 R-Spec is a concept car with no marketing plans. However, the brand will test the public's response for the model and incorporate feedback into its future production vehicles.
