Bookings expected to start in the coming days.
Ahead of its reported launch next month, the Tata Zica has started arriving at showrooms for display/demo purposes. The top-end Tata Zica XT Revotron seen in these images was snapped by Indian Autos Blog reader, Mr. Bobin Xavier, in South India.
According to a report, bookings for the Zica are expected to commence soon after its debut at the Auto Expo 2016. Tata will also showcase a sporty Zica Aktiv at the show with a bodykit, which could be part of the small car's accessories. The market launch is reportedly slated for mid-February.
The Zica Revotron petrol uses an all-new 1.2-liter three-cylinder all-aluminium engine capable of 85 PS and 114 Nm of torque. The Zica Revotorq diesel is powered by a 1.05-liter three-cylinder engine capable of 70 PS and 140 Nm of torque. Both engines will be paired to a 5-speed manual transmission, though an AMT will be introduced later in the lifecycle. The fuel efficiency figures are expected north of 20 km/l as well.
