The Hexa could measure similar to the concept's 4,764 mm long, 1,895 mm wide, 1,780 mm tall dimensions with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. Unlike the MPV-ish looks of the Aria, the Tata Hexa will adopt a rugged crossover design.
The Hexa will be the most feature-packed Tata product ever, when launched in the market. Top variants will come equipped with ESP (electronic stability program), projector headlamps with auto function, taillamps with LED position lamps, large alloy wheels, 6-seat configuration with captain seats, leather upholstery with twin-needle stitching, mood lighting, window shades and 6 airbags.

The Hexa is powered by a 2.2-liter four-cylinder VARICOR 400 turbodiesel engine that delivers 154.2 hp at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm between 1,700 – 2,700 rpm. A 6-speed manual gearbox is expected in lower variants, while a GM-sourced 6-speed automatic is reported as the alternative. The Hexa will also feature a 4WD system with a Drive Mode selector.
