Projects a new design direction.
A speculative rendering of what's referred to as the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Suzuki GSX-250R, has surfaced online. This is the same rendering that emanated from Young Machine Magazine that circulated the blogosphere towards the end of July, 2015, but this scan (below) is more legible for observation.
Suzuki is believed to be working on two quarter-litre motorcycles, assumed to be the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Suzuki G-Strom 250. The former is the anticipated upgrade to the 160 cc Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF, while the latter is an adventure tourer that is expected to be built as a competitor to the unconfirmed Kawasaki Versys 250. If the latter is brought to India, it will be pitted against the soon-to-be-launched Mahindra Mojo and Royal Enfield Himalayan.
While the rumoured G-Strom 250 is assumed to be a rugged & more adventurous version of the Suzuki Inazuma 250 featuring the same chassis and engine, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 is expected to share some elements from the smaller and larger Gixxers. However, the looks are anticipated to be significantly new, and the details of the engine are unknown too at this point.
The rendering has portrayed a twin-cylinder motor within the fairing, making us wonder if the Inazuma's motor could be optimized for the entry-level sports bike.
