Styling inspired by the bigger Suzuki V-Strom.
The adventure tourer segment is slowly picking up pace in the Indian market, with new products like the Bajaj AS series and the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan being new entrants into the segment. Next in line is, reportedly, a less-power full version of the Suzuki V-Strom bike, dubbed as the Suzuki G-Strom 250.
A rendering of the Suzuki G-Strom 250 has appeared in Japanese auto magazine. It appears to draw design cues from the Suzuki V-Strom, and comes with the usual bits fitted on a adventure tourer bike like a visor, protective panels around the fuel tank, an extended front fender, and a protective front cowl.
It will, reportedly, share its internals with the Suzuki Inazuma, like the telescopic front forks, front and rear disc brakes. Also to be shared is the 250 cc parallel twin as well, but it could be re-tuned specifically for the adventure tourer.
In the Indian market, the Suzi G-Strom 250 is expected to launch in 2017. It will rival bikes like the upcoming Kawasaki Versys 250 as well as the KTM 390 Adventure.
