The TVS Akula 310 may be called the TVS Apache RTR 310.
The production version of the TVS Akula 310 has been spotted fully uncamouflaged on a dyno bench by a Xbhp reader. The TVS Akula 310 concept was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo as a tribute to TVS Racing.
The spy picture reveals the presence of an ABS ring as evident on the front wheel. The upside down front forks in golden yellow adds to the sporty character while the headlamps, along with the DRLs, also appear to be LED. The exhaust canister seems to be a direct lift from the BMW G310R.
The matte finish paint scheme looks wicked, and the devil horn-shaped taillamp adds to the attraction. The TVS Akula 310's production version, unlike the concept, will be road focused thanks to the taller positioning of the clip on. The forgiving riding position will be a boon during city rides while the tall windscreen will protect the rider from wind blasts.

The TVS Akula 310, which could use the TVS Apache 310 branding, will be powered by the same 313 cc single cylinder mill as the German roadster. Coupled to a 6-speed gearbox the engine is capable of producing 34 PS of maximum power and 28 Nm of peak torque.
The production version of the TVS Akula 310 is expected to be priced aggressively and launch by July 2017.
