New gen Beat to go on sale early next year.
Team-BHP reader Dr Abhishek, has managed to photograph the interior of the 2017 Chevrolet Beat up close, revealing the changes expected when it goes on sale early next year. The next generation Chevrolet Beat will continue to riding on the M300 platform as the current model, but will spawn two new variants: Beat Activ and Essentia.
Although the interior design looks similar to the outgoing Beat, Chevrolet has introduced some changes that impart a premium look to the cabin, which were previewed by the Beat Essentia concept at the Auto Expo 2016. The interior adopts a dual tone beige and black color combination with a matte silver center console and chrome garnish around the HVAC vents and bike-inspired instrument cluster with an ice-blue background lighting.
The model spotted appears to be the range-topping variant as it features steering-mounted buttons for audio and telephony, power operated ORVMs, and a Chevrolet MyLink2 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Top variants will also come equipped with safety features like dual airbags, ABS and a rear parking camera, but not automatic HVAC.

As for the exterior design, the new Beat will draw cues from the international-spec Chevrolet Spark, featuring the characteristic Chevrolet 2-part grille flanked by new headlamps with chrome garnish, updated taillamps, repositioned registration plate at the rear-end and new alloy rims.
