Not confirmed for production by Ford.
Theophilus Chin has imagined a hotter version of the Ford Figo (Ford Ka+ in Europe), which is speculatively christened as the Ford Figo ST (Ford Ka+ ST). Note that Ford has not confirmed such a variant for production.
If considered, the Ford Ka+ ST could be a viable option for young car buyers looking for a sporty, dynamic hatchback that slots under the Ford Fiesta ST, and rival the likes of the Suzuki Swift Sport or Renault Twingo GT. The exterior features a grille inspired by the Ford Fiesta ST, new bumper with bigger foglamps, large 5-spoke alloy rims, roof spoiler and chrome-plated twin exhaust pipes.
In India, the prospect of a Ford Figo ST could be an appealing one, if priced competitively. There is some demand for performance-oriented hatchbacks, and a Figo ST could help boost popularity of the segment that comprises of bigger cars like the VW Polo GT and the Fiat Punto Abarth.

Being an imaginative rendering, there are no details on the engine under the hood. The most powerful variant of the regular Figo in India is the 1.5 Ti-VCT with 6-speed PowerShift DCT, which produces 112 hp. A probable option could be the dialed up 1.0L EcoBoost engine from the Ford EcoSport that in its current state outputs 125 PS and 170 Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
