Will be larger and more expensive than the outgoing model.
Based on spyshots and reports, Motor1 has posted a rendering of the 2017 Ford Fiesta. It gives us a first look at the seventh generation hatchback that is due for a launch in 2017.
As seen in spyshots and rendering, the next gen Ford Fiesta will be slightly larger than the current model, which is 3,968 mm long, 1,709 mm wide and 1,468 mm tall. This would help better differentiate it from the new Ford Ka+. The exterior design appears to be evolutionary, with cues borrowed from the new Ford Fusion and facelifted Ford Focus.
Along with the increase in size, Ford will also refine the build quality, materials used and noise insulation in the next Fiesta's cabin. Expect an upgrade of the infotainment system to SYNC3, which comprises of a large capacitive touchscreen display and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
