Ducati Multistrada 950 and Ducati Monster 797 were unveiled at EICMA 2016.
Ducati India has confirmed the launch of the Ducati Multistrada 950 and Ducati Monster 797 on June 14, 2017. The Ducati Monster 797 is the entry level offering globally while the Multistrada 950 was developed thanks to the success of the bigger Ducati Multistrada 1200.
The Ducati Monster 797 is powered by an air-cooled 803 cc L-twin mill coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 75 hp of maximum power at 8,250 rpm and 68.9 Nm of peak torque. It gets upside down Kayaba fork up front and a Sachs monoshock. The Monster 797 tips the scales at 193 kg and is expected to be priced at INR 7.82 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Ducati Multistrada 950 gets a 937 cc twin-cylinder Testastretta mill which is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine produces 113 hp of power at 9,000 rpm and 96.2 Nm of torque at 7,750 rpm. The bike gets 4 riding modes (Touring, Sport, Urban and Enduro). Ducati claims that 80 percent of the torque is available between 3,500 to 9,500 rpm. The Ducati Multistrada 950 is expected to be priced at INR 11.53 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Ducati India had announced in February that it will be launching 5 motorcycles in 2017.
