The BMW G310R is the most affordable BMW Motorrad motorcycle.
The BMW G310R has been showcased at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2017 with a few subtle changes from the European version.
The motorcycle is powered by a 313 cc liquid-cooled, single cylinder, four-valve, DOHC mill coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 34 PS of maximum power at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The BMW G310R tips the scales at 158.5 kg and has a seat height of 785 mm.
The BMW G310R is suspended over 41 mm upside down forks up front and a die-cast aluminium swingarm with a directly hinged monoshock in the rear with adjustable preload. Brakes include a 300 mm disc four-piston radially bolted calliper in the calliper and a 240 mm unit in the rear with a single piston floating calliper.

The unit showcased at BIMS 2017 sports a new taillamp and handlebar grips, while the indicators too are longer. The BMW G310R gets dual channel ABS as standard. The fuel tank can store 11-litre of petrol.
The BMW G310R is expected to be launched in India later this year. BMW Motorrad will launch in India in April.
