Production version hasn't changed much from the concept.
The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 was recently seen testing on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway in a spy video published on YouTube by The ThrottleTwisters. Now, the uncut version of this video put on the same channel gives an extended preview of the Bajaj Pulsar CS400's test mule.
The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 was unveiled in concept form at Auto Expo 2014 and is currently in its final phase of testing. The exact launch date of the Pulsar CS400 isn't available yet, but Bajaj Auto President (Business Development & Assurance) S Ravikumar has confirmed Q3 2016 (July-September 2016) to be the arrival period. The flagship Pulsar is expected to be priced around INR 1.8 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The production Bajaj Pulsar CS400 is said to be based on the Bajaj Pulsar RS200’s platform and expected to be only slightly changed from the concept version. A minor seat re-design and the upside-down fork getting replaced by a telescopic front suspension are the two noteworthy changes seen in the test mules so far.
The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 is expected to be powered by the 373.2 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine of the KTM Duke 390. This engine produces 32 kW (44 hp) and 35 Nm of torque in the current KTM Duke 390.
