The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 was previewed as a concept vehicle at Auto Expo 2014. In production version, spy media have indicated that the Pulsar CS400 remains largely unchanged in design. Bajaj Auto has changed the seat design slightly and fitted a telescopic front suspension (in place of the concept's upside-down fork) in the production version. The all-digital instrument panel and auxiliary digital display on the tank have made it to the showroom model.
The Pulsar 400 is expected to be powered by a modified version of the KTM Duke 390's 373.2cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The company may incorporate its triple-spark technology in this fuel-injected engine which will be mated to a 6-speed transmission. Changes will likely be made keeping the next-gen KTM Duke 390 in mind.
