Will be priced around INR 1.8 lakhs.
The Bajaj Pulsar CS400, the most capable and expensive Bajaj Pulsar ever expectedly, is known to be in the final stages of testing now. The Pulsar CS400 was spied testing just last week, and now, according to a report from Economic Times, it will be launched in the third quarter of the year. "We are planning to launch an upgrade for the Platina (entry-level model) and a totally new Pulsar at the top-end in the next quarter," Bajaj Auto President (Business Development & Assurance) S Ravikumar told the business publication.
The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 is expected to look mostly unchanged from its concept version which was shown at Auto Expo 2014. The production version, spyshots suggest, may have a conventional telescopic front suspension unlike the concept version which had an upside-down unit. The seats too appear to have been changed, but not by too much.

The production Bajaj Pulsar CS400 will be the most powerful Bajaj Pulsar ever. It's expected to borrow the KTM Duke 390's 375 cc single-cylinder engine. Bajaj will add its triple-spark ignition technology to the engine and pair it to a 6-speed transmission. This engine delivers 44 PS (43.38 hp) and 35 Nm of torque in the KTM Duke 390. The Pulsar CS400 should be priced around INR 1.8 lakhs before taxes and other on-road costs.
