Will have its market launch in November.
In new spyshots, courtesy of ThrustZone, the Bajaj Kratos VS400 shows its dual-vertical LED taillights, which instantly remind one of the popular Bajaj Pulsar. However, the VS400, as reported last week, will not have 'Pulsar' in its name, instead the new 'Kratos' brand will be established for the flagship motorcycle.
The Bajaj Kratos VS400 will have its market launch in November 2016, as stated by Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, Chairman and MD, Bajaj Auto, during an interview last week. Initially, the Bajaj Kratos VS400 was planned for a launch in the month of August, however, its launch was delayed as the company was focussing on building volumes for the oncoming festive season.
When launched, the Bajaj Kratos VS400 is expected to cost in the whereabouts of INR 1.6-1.7 lakhs, ex-Showroom, and will be an alternative to a Royal Enfield product, but not a direct competitor, Mr. Bajaj stated in the interview. The Kratos VS400 is expected to rival the Royal Enfield Himalayan on price. For reference, the Himalayan is priced at INR 1.56 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
