The 2018 Hyundai Creta (facelift) has been snapped testing again. The latest spy shot comes from Chennai courtesy IAB reader, Spandan Bhattacharya. Hyundai is expected to launch the Creta facelift in May.
Heavy camouflage means much of the exterior of the Hyundai Creta facelift remains hidden. The spy shot gives a glimpse of the new tail lamp and its glow pattern. An image of an uncamouflaged example shared earlier this month revealed changes made to the front including the new grille, a more prominent silver skid plate, redesigned bumper, and chunkier fog lamp housing in black colour.
The 2018 Creta will sport new 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels picked out from the Brazilian-spec Hyundai Creta Sport. Hyundai will also add a sunroof to list of features on offer.
The 123 PS 1.6-litre petrol, 90 PS 1.4-litre diesel, and 128 PS 1.6-litre diesel engines are expected to be carried over unchanged. All three come paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, while the 1.6 l petrol and diesel engines can be had with a 6-speed automatic transmission as well.

Currently, the Hyundai Creta range starts INR 9.29 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) onwards. Expect the 2018 model to have a similar starting price. The addition of features like a sunroof may push up the price of top-end trims.
