As Hyundai continues testing the 2018 Hyundai Creta in India, another batch of its spy shots has surfaced online, courtesy CarDekho.
The latest spy shots reveal two new changes Hyundai has planned to introduce in the Hyundai Creta with the facelift in addition to those noted before. The first change is the addition of a sunroof, a feature already available in the Honda WR-V, which is a relatively cheaper, sub-4 metre B-SUV. The second change is the fitment of the 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels from the Hyundai Creta Sport sold in Brazil. Hyundai is likely to offer these wheels in only the SX+ and SX(O) grades.
No major interior changes are expected in the Hyundai Creta with the mid-cycle refresh. Hyundai may upgrade the SUV’s touchscreen infotainment system to support its Auto Link smartphone app. The pre-facelift Hyundai Creta is available with three engines: 1.6-litre VTVT petrol, 1.4-litre CRDi diesel and 1.6-litre VGT CRDi diesel. All three engines are coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission, but a 6-speed automatic transmission option is available for the 1.6-litre engines. No changes related to these aspects are expected.
