IAB reader Suraj Suprabhan has shared spy shots of a test mule of the 2018 Hyundai Creta facelift he spotted in Chennai. Hyundai will roll out a mid-life facelift of the Creta this year. According to a recent media report, the launch will take place in May.
The latest spy shots partially reveal a new set of tail lights, similar to the Brazil-spec Creta's. As evident from images shared earlier this month, the facelift will get 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels from the Hyundai Creta Sport sold in Brazil. Hyundai will also add a sunroof to the features list of the Creta. Exterior updates to the front section will add a new 'Cascading' grille and a reprofiled bumper.
Hyundai may upgrade the SUV’s touchscreen infotainment system to support its Auto Link smartphone app. Changes to the interior will be minor and may come in the form of new seat upholstery.

All three engines are coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission, while the Creta Petrol 1.6 and Creta Diesel 1.6 is offered with a 6-speed automatic transmission option as well. These engine and transmission options are likely to be carried over unchanged.
