Stock clearance of the BS3 motorcycles leads to mouth-watering discounts.

With BSIV emission norms set to be applicable from April 1, 2017, manufacturers are busy clearing off the old stock of BSIII motorcycles. Kawasaki is the latest name to be added to this list.

Kawasaki Z250 from the India launch
The Kawasaki Z250, with the discount, is one of the most affordable twin-cylinder motorcycles in the country.

Various dealers are offering discounts ranging from INR 50,000 to INR 1.5 lakhs. This includes products which are assembled in India like the Kawasaki Z250, Kawasaki ER-6n and Kawasaki Ninja 650.

The Ninja 650 is available at an on-road price (Pune) of INR 4.86 lakhs. A dealer in Mumbai has the Kawasaki ER-6n at INR 4.45 lakhs. The latter is set to be replaced by the 2017 Kawasaki Z650 which was unveiled at EICMA 2016. The Kawasaki Z250 is retailed at INR 2.95 lakhs (on-road Pune) which make the naked roadster the cheapest twin cylinder motorcycle in the country.

There are however no offers on the Kawasaki Ninja 300 which might be heading for a price hike soon. The Ninja 650 too is expected to be updated to the 2017 edition unveiled at Intermot 2016. Another replacement on cards too is the Kawasaki Z900 which will be retailed in place of the Kawasaki Z800.
