Kawasaki ZX10RR is a track-focused version of the maniac Kawasaki ZX10R.
The Kawasaki ZX10RR has been launched in India with a premium of INR 3.9 lakhs over the standard Kawasaki ZX10R.
One of the most powerful motorcycles in the Kawasaki line-up, the Kawasaki ZX10RR is as close as one can get to their official World Superbike ride. The bike gets low friction coating on certain moving parts to reduce friction, resulting in increased performance and engine life. Other features include reinforced crankcase and new cylinder head.
The wheels of the Kawasaki ZX10RR get lightweight forged aluminium alloys by Marchesini. The front brake includes Brembo M50 monobloc calliper with laterally grooved Brembo disc rotors plus a Brembo radial pump master cylinder and steel braided hoses. The suspension system is fully adjustable and the bike tips the scales at 206 kg.
The powertrain is a 998 cc four cylinder, DOHC unit coupled to a cassette type 6 speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 200 PS of maximum power at 13,000 rpm and 113.5 Nm of peak torque at 11,500 rpm. The power output can be further increased to 210 PS at the same engine speed with RAM air intake.
The Kawasaki ZX10RR has been priced in India at INR 21.9 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune).
