What you see here is the 2015 BMW X1, which was shown at the Detroit Motor Show today. Though we don't term it a 'refresh', BMW says they have carried out updates to the crossover.
On the outside, the updates X1 gets revised air intakes, standard daytime running lights, newly-designed 17-inch V-spoke alloy wheels, and a new 'Sparkling Brown' metallic color.
Inside, the updates are even less significant. On xLine, SportLine or M Sport packages, the surface of the instrument cluster is covered with a "soft-touch material highlighted by lapfolded seams". Customers can also spec the trim accents in high-gloss Black, matt Coral Red or pearl-gloss chrome. Additionally, a steel sill finisher has also been added near the tailgate.
On the features front, the updated X1 gets BMWs ConnectedDrive service. Further details are available in the press release below.
The 2015 X1 goes on sale in international markets this month.
