Yamaha India launched the Yamaha FZ 25 on January 24, 2017.
Yamaha India has reported a sale of 68,095 units in February 2017 which is 20 percent more than their previous year’s performance in the same month (56,960 units).
The company has been riding strong on the Yamaha FZ family which still records good volumes. Their automatic scooters division continues to be spearheaded by the Yamaha Fascino. Their latest offering, the Yamaha FZ 25 was launched at a price tag of INR 119,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Commenting on the numbers Mr Roy Kurian, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt Ltd said -
In 2017, Yamaha continues to grow with a surge in February 2017 sales while concurrently ensuring Government of India guidelines to introduce BS IV compliant models for all products. Yamaha’s robust business plans and strategic customer engagement programs are envisioned to sustain the consistent growth in future The company is en route to achieve 1 million in 2017 as well, through exciting products and by expanding its 3S network.

Yamaha India is also expected to launch the Yamaha R15 v3.0 in mid-2017 which was introduced in Indonesia in January 2017.
The low-cost India-made Yamaha Crux Rev has also been recently introduced in the African market.
