Although the test mule is equipped with dummy headlamps and tail lamps. The spy pictures also reveal a roofline that tapers downwards towards the rear and a C-pillar mounted rear door handle.
The report adds that the Tata X451 petrol will be powered by the Tiago's 1.2 L Revotron petrol engine albeit with a higher output. Diesel variants too will source their engine from the Tiago. However, a Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) will be used to increase the power output. There has been the talk of the upcoming Tata premium hatchback sourcing the 1.2 L petrol and 1.5 L turbocharged engines from the Tata Nexon.
The launch of the Tata X451 is expected to take place in 2019. It will roll out of the company's manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat.
