Packs a 1.0-liter "Boosterjet" petrol engine.
A spyshot of the Suzuki YRA hatchback testing in France has surfaced online, courtesy of Auto Moto. It's expected to launch in Europe in early 2016, and, ahead of that, the final design of the premium hatchback will be revealed by its Indian equivalent, the Maruti YRA, in the second half of this calendar year.
The final design won't be too surprising, given that Suzuki had already previewed it via the near-production Suzuki iK-2 concept at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The production-spec model's dimensions could be nearly identical to the iK-2 concept’s 4023 mm length, 1920 mm width, 1450 mm height and a wheelbase of 2520 mm.
The Suzuki YRA is confirmed to pack a 1.0-liter three-cylinder direct-injection ‘Boosterjet’ engine for improved fuel efficiency. Other likely choices include a 1.25-litre K-Series petrol engine and the familiar 1.3-litre DDiS diesel unit from the Maruti Swift. Suzuki has confirmed that an SHVS mild hybrid system will also be offered for the YRA.

Interior equipment include a SmartPlay infotainment system for higher variants, cruise control, keyless entry with a start/stop button, power folding mirrors. As far as safety is concerned, it could be equipped with more than 2 airbags, in addition to standard ABS with EBD.
