Will be manufactured at Suzuki's plant in Gujarat.
Car and Bike reports that the next gen Maruti Swift Dzire will launch in India in May 2017, while the next gen Swift hatchback arrives in the next festive season. Maruti has, however, declined to comment on future product launches.
The next gen Swift Dzire will be the second product to enter production at Suzuki's new manufacturing plant in Gujarat, first being the Baleno. The Swift is expected to make its world debut in the regular hatchback form at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show in March, before arriving in India as a sub-4m sedan first. It will be third product to ride on the Baleno's lightweight platform in India.
The top-end grade was recently spied testing in Gurgaon, featuring LED-powered brake lights housed in redesigned taillamps, new projector headlamps with LED daytime running strips, and sleeker ORVMs with turn indicators, new grille with horizontal slats, and fog lamps.

The interior was spied from a distance in a previous instance, which gets a slightly different console with rectangular vents, rather than round HVAC vents as seen in the Swift hatchback. The Swift Dzire test mule also appeared to feature beige fabric seat upholstery like the current model does.
