A unit of the new Hyundai Santro in the Marina Blue colour was spotted, at what appears to be a dealership yard. The hatchback will be launched in India on October 23, 2018. A leaked document suggested that the prices for the entry-level car will range from INR 3.88-5.21 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Hyundai Santro seen in the photographs is the range-topping Asta grade. Apart from the Asta, Hyundai will sell the all-new Santro in D-Lite, Era, Magna, and Sportz grades. The car will be available in following colour options:
- Dyna Green
- Fiery Red
- Imperial Beige
- Marina Blue
- Polar White
- Star Dust
- Typhoon Silver
Visually, the new fascia on the Santro features the Cascading grille with chrome surround and bumper mounted front fog lamps. Sides reveal full wheel covers (no alloy wheels, yet), body-coloured ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, and body-coloured door handles.
The new Hyundai Santro comes with dual-tone interiors in a combination of beige and black. The spy image reveals the multi-function steering wheel and the semi-digital instrument console. The tachometer and the speedometer are analogue units while the rest of the information is displayed on a digital screen.
A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system occupies the centre of the dashboard. The infotainment system is Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink compatible. It also supports voice control. Air-con vents next to the infotainment get a brushed aluminium surround. The hatchback also gets rear AC vents.
The all-new Santro can be purchased in petrol and petrol-CNG models. Under the hood is a 1.1-litre four-cylinder engine that, in the petrol model, delivers 69 PS of maximum power and 99 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed Smart Auto automated manual gearbox. The 1.1-litre engine on the petrol-CNG powered variant is tuned to produce 59 PS of maximum power & 84 Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

The 2019 Hyundai Santro gets rear-parking sensors, driver airbag, ABS with EBD, speed alert system and driver and co-driver seat belt reminder as standard. The Asta grade (seen in the photographs) is equipped with a rear-parking camera, passenger side airbag and front fog lamps.
