Expected to launch in Taiwan in March 2017.
The Suzuki Baleno has not yet launched in Taiwan, but apparently about to hit the Pacific market. A u-car.com.tw forum user has published spy shots of the Baleno testing in the country.
Based on the company's new-generation platform, the Suzuki Baleno is the company's latest upscale hatchback positioned above the Suzuki Swift. The Baleno measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,745 mm in width and 1,460 mm/1,470 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,520 mm in wheelbase. The India-made hatchback is available with K10C 1.0-litre, K12B 1.2-litre, K12C 1.2-litre and K14B 1.4-litre petrol engines as well as the Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre diesel engine. These engines are available with a continuously variable transmission, a 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, rear combination lamps with LED, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration compatibility and six airbags are some of the key features of the Suzuki Baleno.

Like in other markets, the Suzuki Baleno will get positioned between the Suzuki Swift and the Suzuki SX4 Crossover (Suzuki S-Cross) in Taiwan. The car could reach dealers in March 2017.
