The soon to be launched Hyundai Verna 2017 has been spotted once again. The images shared by IAB reader Harish Kumar appear to have been taken in a stockyard.
The Fiery Red colour this particular unit of the 2017 Hyundai Verna is finished in, is a new addition. It is one of the four new colour options on offer. The rest being Flame Orange, Polar White and Siena Brown. The car bears protective white masking over the headlamps, front bumper, grille, tail lights, chrome strip on the boot lid and the lower part of the rear bumper housing the reflectors.
Almost all details of the new Hyundai Verna 2017 have been revealed either officially or through leaks. Brochures scans that surfaced online yesterday reveal the variant wise breakup of features as well as the exact specifications and dimensions of the sedan. In comparison to the outgoing model, the new Verna gets additional features like front seat ventilation, electric sunroof and LED tail lamp graphics. It is 30 mm longer, 29 mm wider and 6 mm lower.
The fifth generation Hyundai Verna ditches the 1.4 L petrol and diesel entry level variants. Also, it gains a 6-speed automatic transmission in place of the older car's 4-speed gearbox. Hyundai is yet to reveal the official ARAI certified fuel efficiency figures of the new Verna, though.
HMIL has invested INR 1,040 Crore towards the development of the new Verna. The company hopes to deliver around 10,000 units of the car by Diwali. The Hyundai Verna 2017 launch will take place on August 22. Customers can make bookings online or through dealerships by putting down a sum of INR 25,000.
