Facebook user Sandeep has shared images of a top-spec 2017 Hyundai Verna without any camouflage or protective covering. New Hyundai Verna 2017 launch is on August 22 with pre-bookings already open.
Seen here is the top end SX(O) trim of the petrol variant of the new Hyundai Verna in the Sleek Silver exterior colour. The SX(O) trim sits at the top of the variant lineup and comes with equipment such as six airbags, front seat ventilation, smart trunk functionality and an electric sunroof. This trim is exclusive to the petrol automatic and diesel manual variants.
Hyundai is offering the new Verna in seven paint shades - Phantom Black, Sleek Silver (pictured here), Stardust, Fiery Red, Flame Orange, Polar White and Siena Brown. The last four are new additions.
The full specifications and fuel efficiency figures of the Verna were leaked yesterday. 2017 Hyundai Verna Diesel manual delivers a claimed overall fuel efficiency of 24.75 km/l. Its automatic counterpart has a fuel consumption figure of 21.02 km/l. The petrol variants of the Verna have claimed overall mileage figures of 17.70 km/l and 15.92 km/l for the manual and automatic variants respectively.
HMIL is bullish about the new Verna's prospects in the domestic and export market. The company aims to ship 10,000 units by Diwali this year to customers in India and is targeting exports of 60,000 units per year. Prices of the Hyundai Verna 2017 are expected to start at around INR 8.50 lakhs and reach INR 13.00 lakhs ex-showroom.
