Diesel automatic variant has a waiting period between 6-10 months.
Autocar India reports that the Hyundai Creta currently has a long waiting list, with delivery periods extending all the way up to 10 months in few cities across India.
Both petrol and diesel variants equipped with a manual gearbox have a waiting period between 4-6 months, while customers of the diesel automatic variant have to wait for 6-10 months. Note that the delivery period varies with city/town of purchase.
Even before the Creta was launched, dealers across India had already registered 10,000 confirmed customers and 28,500 enquiries. At its global launch on July 21, Hyundai had confirmed that they received over 15,000 bookings in just 20 days, surpassing the Hyundai Elite i20. It was later revealed that the diesel automatic variant had a sizable percentage of customers, which costs INR 13.57 lakhs (ex-Showroom, New Delhi).
The Hyundai Creta is available with a 1.6-liter Dual VTVT petrol engine producing 123 PS and 151 Nm of torque, a 1.4-liter U2 diesel engine with 90 PS and 220 Nm of torque, and a 1.6-liter CRDi VGT producing a class-leading 128 PS and 259 Nm of torque. HMIL launched a total of 10 trim levels of the Hyundai Creta, with prices ranging from INR 8.59 lakhs to INR 13.6 lakhs (ex-Showroom, New Delhi).
