Likely to launch on September 26 as well.
The Hero Passion Pro iSmart is seen at a dealership in North India, ahead of a launch that could also take place on September 26. Hero Motocorp will also launch the new Achiever 150 on September 26, and in an interview last month, Mr. Pawan Munjal, Chairman and CEO of Hero Motocorp announced that three models (Hero Achiever, Hero Passion Pro and Hero Super Splendor) will be introduced with the i3S technology this festive season.
The Hero Passion Pro iSmart is likely to borrow its powertrain from the Hero Splendor iSmart 110. The engine, which is wholly-developed by Hero, is a BS-IV compliant 110 cc TOD (torque-on-demand) air-cooled, single-cylinder unit that develops 9.4 PS at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm on the Splendor iSmart.
It is paired to a 4-speed gearbox on the Splendor, which will be carried over to the Passion Pro iSmart too.

The i3S automatically cuts off the engine when the bike is stationary and restarts the engine once the clutch is depressed. On the outside, the i3S logo is seen on the Passion Pro, just near the start of the grab-rail. Also, the rear springs continue to be painted in a red shade.
The current Passion Pro starts at INR 48,075 ex-Showroom, New Delhi, and the Passion Pro iSmart is expected to cost a couple of thousand rupees more for the added technology and the new engine.
