Slated to launch in India this year.
Seen here are the first spyshots of the all-new Ford Mustang GT, ahead of its reported Indian launch this year. Gaadi.com reports that these images were snapped at the ARAI, indicating that the Mustang is being homologated for the country.
The sixth generation Mustang was unveiled in the United States in December 2013 with three engine options. Seen here is the top-end Mustang GT, which packs a 5.0-liter V8 developing 435 hp at 6,500 rpm and 528 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. While this engine is offered with a 6-speed manual as standard, the Mustang GT spotted here sports the 6-speed SelectShift automatic with paddle shifters.
For the first time, the Mustang is being made in right-hand drive (seen in images) for markets like India and the U.K. as well. The rear wheel drive muscle car is also offered with a 3.7-liter Ti-VCT V6 and a 2.3-liter GTDI four-cylinder EcoBoost engine in the American market.
The fully overhauled pony car rides on a Double-ball-joint MacPherson strut with stabilizer bar at the front, and an Integral-link independent suspension with coil springs and stabilizer bar at the rear, another first on the Mustang.

The Indian launch of the Mustang is expected towards the festive season period (October-November), and the vehicle will be brought in through the CBU route.
