BMW Motorrad recently launched the new 2019 S1000RR in the Indian market and thus the demo bikes of the previous generation models (Euro-IV/BS-IV) are available at discounted prices. The R1250GS, F850GS and the F850GS are Euro-IV/BS-IV compliant models and thus the dealership is most likely clearing the stock before the Euro-V/BS-VI bikes start to roll out.
The lowest discount is still a whopping INR 2,79,797 below the actual price. The highest discount comes on BMW’s litre-class supersport, the S1000RR, which is available at INR 5,63,000 lower than the actual on-road price. The new 2019 S1000RR, for reference, is available in three variants:
- Standard INR 18.50 lakh*
- Pro INR 20.95 lakh*
- Pro M Sport: INR 22.95 lakh*
*Ex-showroom Delhi prices
To give you a recap, the S1000RR has retained the 998 cc displacement with an inline, four-cylinder layout. The motor, however, is all-new and it features BMW Motorrad’s new ShiftCam tech for better mid-range power without compromising on high-end performance. In terms of numbers, the new power mill produces 207 hp at 13,500 rpm and 133 Nm at 11,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed transmission and boasts a maximum speed of 299 km/h (electronically limited).

The optional extra includes Dynamic Damping Control. Standard riding modes include Rain, Road, Dynamic and Race while three additional riding modes could be added to the package.
