Just days after its sketch was leaked, the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 has been spied sans camouflage for the first time, courtesy Autocar India. The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 will reportedly be launched in India in August.
The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 was first showcased as a concept 'Cruiser Sport' motorcycle at Auto Expo 2014. The production version will debut after over two years, but with little aesthetic changes, if any. The company seems to be bridging the gap between the sports and naked motorcycles with a hybrid of the two. The production CS400 looks very much like how we had previewed in renderings earlier this year.
The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 will reportedly be powered by a modified version of the KTM Duke 390's 373.2 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. This engine will feature the familiar DTS-i spark ignition system and channel power to the wheel via a 6-speed transmission.
A few key features of the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 known so far are telescopic forks, mono-shock rear suspension, all-digital instrument cluster, auxiliary digital display on the fuel tank and single front and rear disc brakes. Word out there is that there will be a single-channel ABS as standard, while a dual-channel could be made available optionally.
