Towards the end of March, a report emerged revealing Bajaj's plan to launch the next generation Pulsar in 2019. IAB's automotive illustrator has created a rendering of the 2019 Bajaj Pulsar 150 (Bajaj Pulsar UG6).
Notable design features depicted by the rendering include a new front cowl with 135 LS inspired front headlamp design. Sharp creases on the fuel tank give add aggression to the way the 2019 Bajaj Pulsar 150 looks. There is a Dominar 400 inspired dual tone rear section with a sleek LED tail lamp and split grab handles. The bike rides on 5-split spoke alloy wheels similar to the RS200 and NS200.
As per the report from March, the next gen Bajaj Pulsar 150 will employ fuel injection to help achieve BSVI compliance. The new platform will be versatile enough to bring out bikes up to 250 cc capacity. Apart from the new engine, the frame, alloy wheel design, swingarm and the tail section will witness an overhaul. The rear will reportedly use a monoshock, which is a first for the standard Pulsar range. The bike will feature ABS to comply with the upcoming safety norms.
