The 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 is set to be launched in India this month. Ahead of its launch, YouTuber ‘The Storm Rider’ has released a video, which details the engine performance and in-gear acceleration of the motorcycle.

As can be seen in the video, the new 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 reaches a maximum speed of 57 km/h in 1st gear, 81 km/h in 2nd, and 106 km/h in 3rd. This could also be a result of a slightly increased rpm limiter. In comparison, the current model manages 49 km/h, 71 km/h and 92 km/h, respectively, in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears. Furthermore, the YouTuber claims that the engine runs smoother and vibration-free as compared to the existing bike.

The 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 comes with a bunch of changes, both cosmetic as well as mechanical. While the overall design is similar, the motorcycle features new rear-view mirrors and a redesigned front mudguard. Mechanically, the 43mm telescopic front forks make way for the silver-finished upside-down units and a twin-port exhaust system, while the front disc brake is moved onto the left side of the wheel.

The motorcycle also features an updated two-part instrument cluster. The primary unit displays additional information like service reminder, average fuel economy, side stand indicator, instantaneous fuel efficiency and engine kill-switch on. The secondary tank-mounted display incorporates a gear-position indicator, 2 trip meters and an odometer.
