The 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 has been revealed through the company’s TVC for the new 'World's Favourite Indian' branding campaign.
The new brand identity campaign celebrates Bajaj Auto’s success in the global markets. Coming back to the Bajaj Dominar 400, the motorcycle comes equipped with silver-finished upside-down forks in place of the telescopic forks, and a new twin-port exhaust system.
A report dated 14 January revealed that the new Bajaj Dominar 400 features an updated instrument console, which displays a multitude of additional information including a gear position indicator, average fuel economy, service reminder and much more.
We reported on 19 January that the new Bajaj Dominar 400 will be launched in India by the end of this month. Furthermore, a few Bajaj dealerships in Mumbai have commenced taking private bookings for the bike.
Reportedly, the Bajaj Dominar 400 will employ a more powerful and refined engine, along with a DOHC layout. A smooth and less vibey motor will go a long way in making the motorcycle more desirable, as the current Dominar suffers from the inherent vibration issue. These changes are unconfirmed.
The 2018 Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by a 373.2 cc single-cylinder, 4-valve liquid-cooled motor that churns out 35 PS of power and 35 Nm of peak torque. A six-speed gearbox transfers drive to the wheel. A PASC slipper clutch and dual-channel ABS is standard fitment.
