Earlier this week IAB’s automotive illustrator Shoeb Kalania presented a rendering of the 2018 Nissan Paladin (Nissan Navara-based SUV)’s front. Now, he has created a rendering of the 2018 Nissan Paladin’s rear on the basis of a leak.
The 2018 Nissan Paladin has a simplistic rear-end with a modest styling. Wraparound tail lamps, chrome license plate garnish, a roof spoiler with LED stop lamp and a mildly raked back glass are the noteworthy design tidbits at this angle. Dual tailpipes are not expected in this mid-size SUV.
The 2018 Nissan Paladin will have a body 4,885 mm long, 1,865 mm wide and 1,835 mm tall. Its wheelbase will span a length of 2,850 mm. Nissan will power it with the QR25 2.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine produces 135 kW (184 PS) and 236 Nm (2WD)/251 Nm (4WD) of torque in the Nissan Navara. Transmission choices will include 6-speed manual and 7-speed automatic. Nissan will offer a 4WD system in select configurations.
